7. They hide parts of themselves
Sometimes, being nice becomes a mask. By always trying to be agreeable, they suppress less “acceptable” sides of themselves—anger, sadness, quirks, even passions.
But friendship thrives on authenticity. Without showing their full selves, others never get the chance to bond deeply with who they really are.
