The Bombshell
Worried about potential health issues, Sean finally confronted her about the appointments. He expected a diagnosis. Instead, he got a cold, calculated confession.
Rosa announced that she was pregnant. Then, she dropped the bombshell: the baby was not his. She told Sean that she had sought out an affair of her own to “balance the scales.”
“She said everything that happened was fair, and that we each got what we deserved,” Sean reveals. “She suggested we stay together and that I could adopt the baby, explaining that she was no longer in touch with the baby’s biological father.”
A House of Cards
Now, Sean is trapped in a spiral of uncertainty. He suspects this is a cruel, calculated act of revenge—a psychological tactic designed to make him feel the exact agony he inflicted on her. But in his heart, a terrifying doubt remains: What if she isn’t lying?
“I’m torn,” Sean admits. “I have a gut feeling that the baby is mine and that she was never unfaithful. But at the same time, what if she wasn’t lying and the baby isn’t mine? How do I proceed?”
The Editorial Verdict
Infidelity is rarely just about the act; it’s about the collapse of the foundation that two people built together. Whether Rosa’s pregnancy is a true betrayal or a scorched-earth psychological game, the damage to the trust they shared is absolute.
Karma has a way of complicating the messiest of situations, and in this case, the lines between justice and further trauma have become indistinguishable.

Post-script: As for the woman who tempted Sean away from his marriage? She expected a happy life, but karma hit her hard as well—now left with nothing, she is as desperate as the family she helped destroy.
