A Peaceful Drive
The day felt calm and ordinary. The road stretched out ahead of me, familiar and safe. I sat behind the wheel, letting my thoughts wander—plans for later, little worries, and simply the joy of being on the road.
Beside me, my dog curled up on the passenger seat.
