Sarah is still very much in my life, too.
I don’t know what happened to Kelly.
I didn’t bother to keep in touch with her. But I learned something from her that I’ve never forgotten. There will always be people who try to put you down, extinguish your light, and force you to become someone you’re not.
You can’t give up when that happens.
Instead, you need to rise. Fight for your dreams and shine brightly, because you are capable of so much more than they can imagine.
